Lights and lighting play an extremely important part of paintless dent removal work. Modern lights have improved in both design, clarity and available switching mode features.

Lighting is used to to provide clarity of the dent zone and how to undo the dent. This includes the shape, the depth and how to read shadows and bright spots as to where to position the tip of your tool. Lights are also important in terms of using tap downs of high spots.
